At Launchpad Toys, we’re building digital toys and tools that empower kids to create, learn, and share their ideas through play. Our first app, Toontastic, is a storytelling and animation tool that enables kids ages 5-10 to draw and animate their own cartoons and share them online with friends and family around the world. Toontastic was just honored as one of the “Top 10 iPad Apps of 2011” by the New York Times and was recently added to the iTunes Hall of Fame.
As we build new creativity tools for kids and grow our online storytelling community (Toontastic added more users than Netflix Streaming last month), we’re looking to bring on a veteran marketer to guide our social media efforts, launch creative promotions, build distribution partnerships, and direct our parent communications. Our ideal candidate has 5-15 years experience in toy/game/media marketing, a strong analytical mind with the chops to execute ideas independently, and a finger on the pulse of parents and educators around the world. She or he is well versed in reading/coding web analytics, driving “freemium” conversion, creating whimsically playful viral videos… and building awesome LEGO spaceships.
