One of the many new features in Toontastic v1.51 is our new In-App-Purchasing system for schools. We hear from a lot of teachers using Toontastic in the classroom that In-App-Purchases are difficult – it’s just too troublesome and costly to purchase every new playset on all 30 iPads. Teachers: WE HEAR YOU!
With v1.51, all purchases are now tied to your ToonTube account, which means that (paired with our current “Birthday Bonus” pack), you can now purchase ALL CURRENT AND FUTURE playsets for the ENTIRE CLASSROOM for $9.99. We ask/recommend that you create one account per classroom so that teachers can monitor their students’ activity appropriately (and to help us pay the electric bill).
Here are the Steps:
- Update all your iPads to Toontastic v1.51
- Create one ToonTube account for your entire classroom.
- Ensure that all of your iPads are online and logged into your ToonTube account.
- Purchase the “Birthday Bonus” pack on one iPad.
With restart of the app, every iPad logged into your ToonTube account will have EVERY character and setting we offer.
